I'm talking in the sense of self-education. I've seen too many guys fall into this mental-masturbation loop.

For example, I'm supposed to be studying for my mock exams this week. Apart from the obvious time wasted on faffing about, I also squandered a majority of my time away by studying. In actuality, I spent quite a lot of time making schedules, and even coded a fucking application to keep track of notes. :fuk:

I thought that this was helpful, but in hindsight, it really wasn't. This also ties into newcels on this forum. They want to learn stuff, and ask for a roadmap or where to start. This shouldn't be their way of thinking, they should want to learn everything. There is no starting point.

So, if you're looking to learn something, whether it be software design, video editing or even economics, stop waiting for the perfect course and equipment, just take action now. It's easier said than done, but start right now.

Kind of water advice now that I look back on it, but oh well. :Comfy: *I'm also doing this instead of studying.
