TL;DR of the article: positive electric potential causes resorption(bone to break down and retrude), negative electric fields cause bone growth. In the study they were able to grow adult mandibles anywhere from 2.5mm to 10mm.

I grew my mandible with hormone use and chewing on thick rubber during puberty, but i want to atrophy them now
