I used to think stretching for height was obviously ineffective but now I'm divided on whether spine stretching works for height gain. You can obviously decompress your spine by hanging and stretching. But can you get permanent height gain by consistently doing this?
My former professional fighter dad is 4in (3in at his peak) shorter than me but mogs me sitting down because of his long back, he said when he was younger he hung from a bar and stood straight against a wall everyday to decompress his spine (Blackpill runs in the family lmao). @FreakkForLife reported a 2 inch permanent gain from a back stretching protocol over months. My question is could this really be legit and if so, how does it work? Could it be cartilage growth is stimulated from the consistent tension on the spine? How age/growthplate dependent is it? Would supplementing certain things help? So many questions.
