In order to be able to consume foods of higher masticatory resistance, the masticatory muscles (masseter, temporalis, medial pterygoid, and lateral pterygoid) generate stronger force that engenders mechanical stress in the jawbone (skeletal remodling governed by Wolff's law)

This stress stimulates osteocytes to produse IGF-1. The elevated IGF-1 expression enhances osteoblastogenesis (unspecialised stem cells turn into mature osteoblasts) to reconstruct the jawbone so that it can endure the loaded force.

In simplified terms hard-chewing specifically on molars will provide remodeling of the jaw bone. This can in theory lengthen you ramus and improve your counterclockwise rotation (CCW), providing improved forward growth of the Maxilla and Mandible, unfortunately not in cm but in mm of difference.
