Im in year 11 of highschool in Australia rn

After I graduate I want to ideally study in milan/madrid majoring neuroscience. However ofc this is real fucking expensive, ill be going solo and I'd be needing to adjust to a new life.

If I wanted I could go to Paris for good international study with a lot less of the troubles. I have extended family in Paris who could definitely help me out and make life lots easier. The thing is I hate Paris I'm predicting it'll be a giga shithole and I'll hate my time there.

Is it worth going to Paris to study in a place I hate or going to Milan/Madrid for a better experience for harder life :feelsuhh:

@Zeekie thoughts brah?? didn't u say ur international in Italy?

I hate the unis in Australia. the main plan is to go study neuroscience and minor sport science. post graduation try to break into la liga/ serie a where football is big and I get paid well in comparison to shitty A league in Aus. Then maybe find a Spanish/Italian stacy to save my bloodline too

Whatevef Zeekie is saying don't listen. Go to the united states of America :feelshmm:. As an international student they won't take into account your grades of the last 4 years like the Americans. They will only look at your essay, your SAT, ACT and extracurriculars. If you have those and you don't need a scholarship getting into a school in the us is easy, and it's the best country to study in by far.

And if you're serious about europe go to Paris.
Everybody goes to Spain it's overcrowded, the unis are not that good and you won't have much prospects after getting your degree, employers already have an image of the Madrid int student : they're lazy and they went there for the weather. Also Paris is not that bad I swear I've been there multiple times I expected a massive shithole but it was ok, just gotta get used to it and don't go thinking it's heaven lol.

I'm biased since I'm studying in Milan lmao, but I'll tell you something, if you're scared of Paris being shit bare yourself for Madrid, nothing specific I can call them out for, I just hate madrileรฑos, all the ones I've met are insufferable for whatever reason... Never been there personally though.

In truth, I cannot speak about Paris or Madrid, every city has an ugly part and a pretty part. So, research where you wanna study in Paris and truthfully speak with your family there to know the place, I'd say choose between Paris or Milan, don't gamble with Madrid (100% not biased)

If I could've studied in the US I would've done it, didn't have family there though, 100% agree, except on the part where you told him not to listen to me, I'm obviously the smartest person alive :rage:

Yeah, that's pretty much my take on it, the US is a nice option like they mentioned above, mainly because of networking, but that only stands when it comes to good universities.

Want the best possible advice? Just reach as far as possible, and pray you get accepted by a good university, pick the best option no matter if it's in fucking Jupiter (and you can afford it of course). But addressing your main point, it's between Paris and Milan TBH, Madridtards don't stand a chance.

Also, neuroscience? Do you hate yourself that much? ๐Ÿ˜ญ Honestly, BEST OF LUCKS, when I was like 15 I thought it was the coolest thing ever, then I discovered that the high salary comes at the cost of your mental health, having to deal with often very likely to die patients and crazy hours. Praying for you brother, not saying don't study it, but praying ๐Ÿ™
