Post-Accutane skin repair : how to fully clear what's left?
Hey, I'm 3 weeks away from finishing an 8-month Accutane course (5 months on 30mg → 1 month on 40mg → 2 months on 50mg). Looking for advice on what to do once I'm done to actually fix what's left.
My situation:
But my main issue and the one I really need help with:
I still have like cysts trapped under the skin. They're not inflamed, not red, don't look like active pimples, but you can clearly feel them under the surface. My skin is just not smooth. I also have what feels like trapped congestion sitting under the skin, mostly on my cheeks and along the upper forehead/brow area. It's not inflamed, doesn't look like active pimples - hardened or encapsulated material that won't budge. It's also causing slight puffiness in those areas which makes it even more frustrating.
I want to fully clear my face of this, whatever it is (old cyst remnants, trapped sebum, scar tissue). It feels like there's just stuff under my skin that needs out.

- Skin that flushes and reddens very easily (yeah, it's normal on Accutan)
- Some residual scarring
