Do people even use Tinder in Italy? During the pandemic, I learned that Italians lack good internet connections and computer skills so they can't work at home like people in other countries.

I think that depends on the city, maybe in Istanbul works but idk, some countries use it way more (like USA) and with good engagement while some other don't.

It's a mix of things.
1) Culture, women here expect men to court them no matter what because we never had big feminist propaganda until recently.
2) Italy is one of the least countries to use Tinder, with the worst engagement from women.
3) Cities are tiny, Bologna is a big city in Italy but only has 500k, in smaller cities people talk and women here fear to be labeled as sluts.
4) Italian men are one of the biggest SIMPS on earth, never saw someone simping that much in Japan, America, UK ecc..cause here we have the myth that you must conquer a woman by courting her until she decides to give it up, and women are seen as angels.
5) Competition is sky high, I think (but that's just my idea) that italian men are way more handsome than some other european men like British, while women are not that good looking, so here even being above average doesn't cut it.
