I always wonder what life is like there in general. especially rural life. must be a nutty contrast to living in a big western city. I'm pale, blue eyes, dark-ish hair so I'd probably blend in visually.

that's so mindblowing to me tbh. especially how your rep is kinda set in stone because of how little people there are and the only way to escape it is moving to like 1 or maybe 2 larger cities? that shit is crazy.

I'm kind of getting the impression that it's pretty much just reykjavik in terms of city life and everything else is no man's town with not much to do except admire nature.

also if you met another icelandic person here then the chance that you'd know or run into them irl is really high.
