This is basically a Repost of an old post on here that I found.
TLDR:
The notion that “Sunlight is responsible for 80% of skin aging” is a misinterpretation of the original message which instead stated that sunlight can affect 80% of the parameters of skin aging (18 of the 22 parameters) but did not (to my knowledge) mention the degree of which these parameters were affected.

It's been 2 years that I've been using sunscreen daily, indoors. It turns out that I decided to research and observe a bit better and now I'm going to drop everything I know about sunscreen here. Quote the experts here, I want to hear their opinion. As a kid I used to have a tanned med mogger...
