When it comes to looksmaxing, most people see supplements as useless or inferior to other methods. And yes it’s mostly true simply due to correlation. A powerful substance is likely to be behind a prescription due to how the drug system works. However, for specific aspects of looksmaxing, like nootropics, coloring, penis enlargement, etc they can actually make a noticeable difference.

The key takeaway from this thread is
Just because something is a supplement doesn’t mean it’s “cope” or less effective than other methods. While this is commonly true, it’s not always the case.

Some example:
For penis enlargement, citrulline is commonly used to boost nitric oxide. Along with a PDE inhibitor this can speed up your gains.
For coloring, carotenoids are used.
With nootropics, a choline source like Aloha GPC or CDP-Choline is used
Lithium can be used as a supplement

What this thread is NOT saying:
Supplement are all you need to looksmax
Every supplement is good
What this thread IS saying:
Just because something is a supplement doesn’t mean it’s cope.
Supplements have their place in every looksmaxxing protocol.

they're overrated if anything, they can have some niche use cases but generally they're a waste of time.

Contrary to the title of this thread I don’t think it’s correct to generalize a whole entire category of substances just because of its legal status. But yes you are correct.

well tbh the lack of any regulatory agency overseeing the industry contributes to them being for the most part dogshit. so much garbage is pedaled to people these days and a lot of the time they're not even buying the horse shit they think they are.
