No one is firing at a 100% in their job all of the time, and at the end - once you're under anesthesia you are under the mercy of your surgeon ( for better or for worse ).

Surgeons are people too and humans make mistakes, No amount of research can save you from your surgeon having an off-day, and don't for a second think that they don't cover their ass when they do make a mistake. They have people on forums here, in the jawsurgery subreddit aswell, and when you post something that they don't like you will be draged through the mud by their legal team.
