Planning on getting chin surgery. From what I understand, this isn't really fixable without surgery, right?

(Note: I've been eating like shit the past few weeks and haven't been going to the gym, so I don't know if that's making it look worse or if it just isn't fixable. I'm trying to see what my body can change naturally before I make any decisions. Let me know if you think surgery is the only option or not.)

Yeah your chin is very recessed. Based on the photo i would say for about an inch. You cant even achieve projection with fillers. You should try implant or jaw surgery if it affects your bite and breathing.

Honestly this is absolutely recessed but it’s fairly common in blacks. No one is going to treat you bad because if it.

But if you truly want to ascend you need double jaw to fix the maxilla and mandible. Both of your jaws are very recessed, genio will not save you.

so double jaw surgery it is?

If you want to ascend the most facially, yes. But for African American’s I’ve observed that height, physique, and social status are more important than face. Maybe you would want to tap into that first before resorting to surgery.
