Most of the people that ask for morphs and talk about how they will get surgery in the future will probably never do it. All surgery does for you is create false expectations and give you a reason to not try as hard. Think about it, if surgery didn't exist you would work and research extra hard because there wouldn't be an "easy" fix to your problems. Reality though isn't much different from this imaginary scenario: surgery is extremely expensive and even if you already had all the money for it, the whole process would take years to complete, if you take into account booking, recovery and braces which you'll likely need. And this is assuming nothing goes wrong. For the entirety of this time like I said you will not work and research as much as you would normally , because everything you do will seem worthless in comparison to the expectations you have for the impact your surgery is gonna have. It's certain though that these expectations will not be met even if everything goes the best possible way. On top of that even assuming everything went right and your expectations were met perfectly which is already borderline impossible, there is still a very high risk of relapse which would make all your efforts useless.

Surgery is slowing you down and limiting you. I really would like yall to give some actual criticism on this. Bye

For those who are trying to get the "optimal result" that's probably true.

Especially those getting LL

or implants, like, you're not affording that, better use filler, at least you can use it.

Osteotomies don't count though

I think what I say is true for all facial surgeries. The only surgery I would actually recommend is the one for protruding ears, not sure what the name is. Also I think implants and fillers isn't the way to go either

i agree that most people on this forum talking abt hardmaxxing wont probably follow through with it.
but saying all surgery does is create a false expectation is utter bs, some things just arent achievable without it, for aesthetics and health reasons

and for those who follow through with surgeries if there not retards they have probably done extensive amounts of research

The amount of research you do doesn't matter because things can always go wrong and it's 100% sure your expectations will not be met even if everything goes right. Also there isn't much research you can do other then looking for a good surgeons, but once you actually are there doing the surgery you are helpless.
I also do not think there are things you can't achieve without surgery unless you have some genetic deformity. Sure there are individual things that you cannot achieve without surgery but in terms of overall aesthetics I do not think so. And like I said in the post I think surgery can limit you in that regard
