Suture traction questions

so there is this thing done for the whole cranium where you basically take two fingers one on each side of a suture and try to separate the suture gently , apparenty it's to avoid a rigid skull to loosen them , and some claim that if done continuously the bones will move slightly to their correct positions, but i personally dk what to say, because from the videos that i saw it just looks so ineffective and placeubo, idk i just couldnt trust it, can anyone convince me.
