Im 16 and im thinking about starting to swim more maybe twice a week or smth but the pool i have access to is an indoor chlorinated pool i think and ive seem that chlorine is bad for t levels so do i do swimming do i go to the beach? What do i do

The beach is further away and less convenient also it has ppl there that take up space and waves and stuff and its annoying so idk what to do

you can swim recreationally, i dont think swimming is worth doing in hopes of it improving your life if you dont like swimming

I personally don't think I've seen any strong evidence to support that swimming in chlorinated pools lowers your tesosterone.

Just swim brah.

It's an insane form of cardio, and if you eat right you can build some muscle on that alone (ideally you'd be going to the gym too).

Also, swimming is not going to grow your clavicles. In case that's what you're doing it for.

Hope this helped. If it did, make sure to mark as solution by clicking the checkmark on the right.

it wont give you muscles or any skeletal frame gains, just go to the gym and swim at the beach when you want to

just don’t swim

as a swimmer I tell you, don’t. If you’re not a swimmer you gain nothing from it

I’m in it 9x a week it’s hell

the chlorine doesn’t affect T as far as I know, but it’s just not good for you

it wont give the same amount of muscle gain as going to the gym obviously, and people say that swimming grows your frame but thats false, it just happens that pro swimmers already have a good frame prior to starting their career, thats why they are successful, because they are genetically gifted for swimming

yeah, if you’re a swimmer

if you do that shit 2x a week it’s like doing nothing.

your form is incorrect so you can’t even begin doing any hard excercise, you can’t learn it since you’re too old to (last possible age to learn is like 12), you don’t gain jackshit from it by doing it as a non-swimmer, your muscles don’t work properly and you barely get tired. Even if you do, you’ve done nothing

I could go on and on and on, i cba though😢

Never mind, I found the study.

Look for outdoor chlorinated pools instead.

Or find pools nearby that are disinfected in other ways.

You don't have to do all that effort unless you really want to swim imo.

At that point just find another form of doing cardio and go to the gym.

height never matters if you’re not a swimmer dude

it’s complicated, you could be 6’6 and a 5’4 dude who swims all his life will take a dump on you. In anything.

sure you may know how to swim but you cannot swim at a level to gain anything from the excercises

gym is still the best allrounder, if you really want the swimmers physique aesthetic I’m sure theres a lot of tutorials out there for gym. although it won’t look exactly as a swimmers

now if you would be so nice to rep my posts I’d appreciate it very much❤️❤️❤️

what? afraid of facts tallcel?:feelskek:

the height legit only matters when both persons are swimmers

if a 6’6 swimmer and a 5’5 swimmer did a race, the 6’6 would (probably) win.

if a 6’6 non swimmer and a 5’5 swimmer did a race, the 5’5 would win.

it’s a fucking fact you can’t deny, swimming is just such a specific sport that chanhes everything, a non swimmer no matter the circumstances has NO CHANCE agains’t a real swimmer.

if you disagree you’re retarded btw:feelshehe:

now go ahead mark my replies as a solution since I know the most out of everyone here trust me, I’ve done way too much research on this shit:rolleyes:

I mean i dont disagree w that but someone who knows how to swim who doesnt swkm regularly can become a swimmer by swimming regularly obv its different for someone who js learnt how to swkm
