for subcutaneous injections, use .5 unch 28 gauge or higher. The higher the gauge the thinner the needle. You can do subq on any area with fat, most prefer stomach or love handles. For intramuscular 1 inch 28 gauge or higher, changing injection sites to avoid scar tissue formation. You can pin on your quad, but you have a chance to hit a nerve. Do it in your shoulders(side delt rear delt) and glutes.
