A lot of classic menswear enthusiasts don't understand this but tailored garments are meant to emphasize the face and highlight the lines of your body meaning that they require you to have a good looking face and a wide frame and athletic body to look good in them

What they actually end up looking

I will admit tailored clothing looks fucking insane if you have the face and body that can compliment it. Those guys look majestic af in those suits but for most people streetwear style of baggy oversized clothes is better and more accommodating because it demphasizes the face and hides the structure of your body. Wear suits only if you are tall athletic body with wide jaw and piercing eyes otherwise don't bother.

really good thread. I always felt that I would look comical while in tailored clothes, and really most people do. You have to have princely features to pull it off. I can see that as being a reason for why street wear is trending in the west in the first place, as we mow have a more diverse/globalized, less developed population
