Anyone done this before? I think I might be mouthbreathing during sleep because my throat tends to be kind of dry upon waking up and my voice is chronically hoarse/weak most of the time, especially when I sleep for very long. For this reason, I avoid talking as much as possible. I'm gonna try and see whether taping my mouth before bed makes any difference. Both my father and half brother suffer from hoarse voice and my father is a snorer. So that might be it.
On the other hand, I sometimes wake up with a sore, clenched jaw which would probably mean I haven't slept with my mouth open...
