bunch of derms say so, and it's logical since it targets face only where accutane works systemically.
Logical Guy

Well accutane is good for if u have acne or u are trying to run androgens and shit. Also can be beneficial by slimming ur nose and doing a course of accutane isnt a stupid idea even if u dont got acne. Taza on the other hand is a for yk skin cell turnover and shit like that. Its good for keeping ur skin "young" and clear though it can be pretty strong and ull need to use sunscreen daily and shit.

I'm not seeing the correlative logic between accutane being systemic and less effective on the skin. Also derms are often retards. A lot of derms don't even tell patients to take 20g of fat with accutane.

Also, I've only seen a study on topicals being better for photoaging which isn't the conventional way in which we talk about aging. We're referencing collagen degradation and pore size which iso does better at maintaining.

Photoaging is simply uv ray protection which you should be using sunscreen anyways..?

most of them are retards that's true, but at a such low dose (20mg weekly) i almost certainly doesn't have the same effect as taz/tret 3/5x a week (before hopping on accutane i adapted my skin to eod 0,05% tret)

no it is better, accutane doesnt stimulate the same collagens (support, structure, scaffolding) as much as topical retinols do

accutane better for acne control
retinoids better for anti aging

accutane stimulates these to an extent but not to the same degree, it mainly decreases ur oil production

which is why ppl who are acne prone should be doing allat perma dosing shit (i might after im done)

cba to find study :Chadge:

I'm asking for the claim that it does it better than accutane, this is also still about photoaging. You're going to age regardless of photoaging hence there's 2 different categories of "aging".
