How do you know whether your under eye hollowness is due to volume loss AKA tear trough or that you have recessed infra orbitals?

Tear trough = soft tissue/fat loss. It changes with lighting, hydration, sleep and smiling.
Recessed infra, orbitals = bone structure. It looks the same in all lighting/expressions and has a sharp, fixed hollow.
If it appeared with age, stress or weight loss, tear trough. If it’s been there forever, ikely recessed infra orbitals.
