Im not saying i want to kill myself but I used to have a "friend" who went to prison for a year for a "self-defense" charge where he killed a guy and he got rapedish and fucked up almost daily.
Every time he talked about it his eyes would look crazy like he was getting flashbacks or some shit

Survival just for survival isn't worth it IMO just because we evolved so far that we have a greater need for pleasure now.
If I was living in the jungle since birth then obviously it would be fine because I wouldn't know anything except surviving but since I have fun daily and live a good life, getting it all taken away at once would be too much.

If you somehow escaped from a prison surrounded by the sea, but you have to cross the sea and reach land. There is a possibility that you will die by drowning or be eaten by a shark. If you fail to do this, you will be imprisoned for life. Would you still risk everything and do this?
