I am having my wisdom teeth removed, which is inevitable. However, my dentist states that an extra molar must also be removed due to damage, and I am worried about potential detriment to my face and symmetry as a result. What can I tell her to minimize this? I am not well-versed in dental biology, but I understand that molars are crucial to bone mass. What is there that I can do?
