Test and growth plate closure

I just turned 18 a month ago but i feel like im still growing but i wanna hop on test. Im only hesitant to do it as it might close my growth plate because the estrogen levels also increase. What should i do should i check if my growth plates are still open? And if they arent ill hop on if they are what should i do? Should i go for mk instead then?
