Given that incels.is banned me for voicing these opinions, I am interested in knowing upfront before I open my heart to getting fond for this place, whether or not I will be similarly punished for stating those opinions here.
The argument that got me banned is essentially that since you can choose whether or not to have sex with people you're not attracted to, that choosing not to have sex with people you are not attracted to is a form of situational voluntary celibacy.
I do not it makes for overall voluntary celibacy (because you are not voluntarily celibate to those you ARE attracted to) but TBH the concept of overall volcel also seems like coping LARP by guys who just don't want to confront the idea that they are incel regarding the shrinking group of girls who meet their standards.
What got me banned is that I said this applied not just to females you weren't attracted to (the superobese, non-humans like dogs/sheep/gators) but also males.
I'm not really sure what's controversial about acknowledging that our situational celibacy in regard to those who repulse us is a voluntary choice. It appears the term "voluntary" has such a bad rep that people react to it like a condemnation, but I believe in embracing the idea of us having voluntary agency in rejecting certain unsuitable partners or situations.
