I'm doing my second year at this place. I wasn't going to do it initially and I got committed to being in one place for a year with a more regular job, but I fucked all of that off as soon as this place offered me to go back. It just wasn't for me. My job is in a very scenic location and it is pretty chill. Since I only work under a certain amount of earnings, I pay virtually no tax. No rent either. On paper I earn less than what I'd get being a regular wagie, but when I take rent, no commute and low tax into account, I make more money in 5, 5 and half months, than a year doing that but paying rent, more tax and other expenses that come with it. Even though its pretty rural there's access to shops and big chain supermarkets, so I have access to everything I need. The biggest downside is that this place doesn't attract many young people, but there's craploads of opportunities for that elsewhere. If you go somewhere in the mountains for example you're guaranteed to fuck your colleagues especially if you do something front of the house or people related, but you can't be a pussy and you must party with them and be pretty social. I think many mentalcels would ascend doing this because this attracts a ton of great opportunities and you meet interesting people. Some boring STEMcel is too pussy for something like this. I say fuck it and do it unless you got other plans.
