The appearance of a recessed anterior nasal spine could be caused by a fully developed maxilla.

I do believe this is quite an important feature which I personally haven’t seen any clear surgical solutions to except paranasal implants which more often than not turn out bad and can be visible during a smile.

I wanted to add something that I think that a fully, very developed maxilla could also cause your nasolabial angle to be sharper and have that slope down look

Here is how a good nasolabial angle looks

A smooth concave angle.

Look at famous people who are attractive and more often than not they’re gonna have a straight down philtrum or a concave one.

I think nasal spine also has to do with how upturned the nose is, in my case if my nose would not droop below the spine, the curve of the bone would be visible and not be like the ugly sharp transition I have now
