Everyone on my dad's side of the family seems to have it, I got some downgrowth so I'm not sure if the tie may have caused that. From what people here say I should probably get it (maybe asap) but I'm reluctant to do so since either my dentist is not gonna know about it or say it's "normal", or whoever would get it out is not gonna do the full procedure or not do it properly.
