Is to give them a positive incentive. People respond best when there is some benefit to them. Whether it’s money, love, a videogame, etc. Offer someone what they truly want and they do the task you want them too. This tactic should be used indirectly, when you send someone to complete a task it shouldn’t be: do x to achieve y. It should be: do x to achieve y and inadvertently complete z. Z being your actual goal. Highly simplified but you get the idea
To know what truly motivates and incentivizes people you must understand them. You must delve deep into their emotions and feelings on things, and infer knowing that what they actually want. People after all do not fully comprehend how much our emotions control us. Our lizard brains make like practically all our decisions, even long term ones which is horrible.
Knowing this, the best way to be resistant to manipulation is to control your fucking emotions. Understand them, feel them, and then take a deep breath and think long term. Unlike what some retards think, reacting with anger and letting your emotions run lose is not high T and badass. Anger is literally the easiest emotion to control, if you are known as a retard who for the slightest indicator of an insult reacts violently, any midwit can fucking control you, making them your master even inadvertently.
Additionally an uncontrolled ego is also very dangerous, as that makes you overestimate your abilities and attributes. Leash your ego, but let it motivate and drive you occasionally.
