To start my post, I will gloss over some of the misunderstandings of the Blackpill, then I will move on to what the popularisation of the Blackpill means for incels.
Common Misunderstandings of the Blackpill
1. The Blackpill is only about looks
This one is probably one of the most common misconceptions about the Blackpill, both inside and outside of the community itself.
Blackpill applies to nearly every aspect of life. Looks, height, social skills, talent, intelligence, and potential in various fields of life.
We can imagine the Blackpill as something like a spider diagram, with each applicable field branching out from a bigger one eg. dating life branching out from looks and/or social skills, job opportunities branching out from intelligence and looks, etc.
2. Bullying within the Blackpill Community
In the Blackpill community (especially recently) there has been a huge decrease in honest, constructive feedback and a huge increase in pure hate and bullying.
For example, if someone asks for advice, more than 70% of the replies will just be feeding the person the same thing, saying, “It’s over for you” or “rope.”
These replies defeat the whole purpose of the community. The community was meant to be a place for people with similar life experiences to come together and show empathy or give advice.
These replies also contribute to the hate normies have towards the Blackpill, purely because of how toxic a lot of Blackpillers are.
3. Looksmaxxing ≠ Blackpill
Yes, the 2 are closely linked together.
No, they are not the same thing.
Looksmaxxing is self improvement and “maxxing out your potential.”
Blackpill is the idea that the outcome of most or all things in your life is decided by a set of uncontrollable, unchangeable variables like genetics.
Often normies mix up the 2, which leads to a distorted view of Blackpill.
Now that I have gone over some misconceptions, I will talk about how the Blackpill is becoming mainstream/common knowledge for normies through social media.
The Popularisation of Blackpill
In recent months or even the past year, the Blackpill has been popularised by people on social media platforms like TikTok.
Often, though, these people teach an incorrect idea of what the Blackpill is, teach incorrect methods of improvement, and spread the toxicity of most Blackpillers.
This has resulted in a very distorted view of the Blackpill from normies.
What was meant to be a way of thinking and a community to relate to has become a home for toxic lying narcissists who teach misinformation and take out their insecurity on others.
What This Means For Incels
1. Acknowledgement of Bad Quality of Life for Unattractive People
The popularisation of the Blackpill can help normies to see how society has treated unattractive people for years, and possible lead to an improvement in quality of life for incels, although this is extremely unlikely, as the mistreatment of ugly people is only biological. Of course we will naturally treat more attractive people better, whether it is a choice or not.
2. Looksflation
The discovery of the Blackpill by normies has resulted in a wave of people looking to improve how they look. Even unnatural methods like HGH and surgeries have become mainstream.
There has also been a shift in how people perceive relationships, as now, if an attractive person is with an unattractive person, people will say, “You are ruining your bloodline.”
The return of this old idea of protecting your bloodline will, over time, result in an increase of attractive people, as ugly people will be avoided for reproduction out of fear of having an ugly
child and staining your bloodline.
With the Blackpill spreading like a plague, all we can do is watch as the world becomes worse and worse for us incels.
Hopefully the result of this popularisation will be positive, although that is unlikely.
The misrepresentation and popularisation of the Blackpill could be a disaster for our society.
