Everytime I go there, I love it.

My parents are planning to move into a village I think tbh.

There's more space, more greenery, larger homes and a nicer community.

I remember when I was doing DofE, a man was picking apples from his tree and offered them to us like in the movies. This would NEVER happen in places like London. People were going out of their ways to help us navigate through fields, roads and even let us refill our water bottles.

Everyone knows each other and they are just much happier living there compared to the urban hell where I currently live.

BUT, as most of the UK I think it's only good for those who have retired or are rich.

I don't see ANY reason for an 18 year old with no money to mgigrate to the countryside, especially in Pakistan

I feel like once I hit like 40-50 and if I have got enough money, I would move there.

Good place to settle down once you're old enough.

A large estate in English country side, wearing tweed jacket to hunt for food, play cricket and tennis in the evening in your backyard and going to the church with wife on Sunday. This is peak life @imontheloose

My dad plays for a cricket team and all his teammates have been convincing him to move over tbh.

He's so insanely close, it's just because of my current school that he isn't moving.

Rural U.S isn't the same tho. U S is generally more remote and spread out. It is still nice but a lot more isolated. Like your neighbor lives 2 miles away there's nothing but the wild wilderness in between. More cows in some states than humans. Parts of Arkansas and Wyoming are so remote you can drive for miles on the highway and not see a single car or another person.

Ur correct. I dont live in an extremely rural place but it’s more rural than suburban and the houses are decently spread apart. There isnt rly like a ‘neighborhood bond’ type of thing here

London isn’t really a good reprensation of how English people are in my opinion. Like with how they act

My surname originates from the English countryside; I spent a lot of my life in the rural, posh countryside. I wasn’t a cricket kid, but I used to do all the typical posh, country activities! It’s a beautiful life.
