So Dr.Sandra's Face Bow is in the house. I bought it after an hour long paid consultation with Dr.Sandra Kahn and she was unsure whether it would work in adults. I'm 20 and after a personal consultation with a craniofacial surgeon yesterday i found out that my maxilla is slightly recessed though he attributed it to my phenotype(Dr,Sandra thought the same about my maxilla). My orthodontist who was a gold medalist in his class laughed the device off as a toy so did the craniofacial surgeon who thought if such commercially available apparatus could do the job, his expertise wouldn't be required and his skill would be obsolete.
My face is already wide and i have a good FWHR according to several users here on the site. I'm wondering if i should put the mask to the test after all the encouraging words from the experts i consulted. I'm obviously not going to be using an MSE. How should i move forward with things? (No pun intended)
(I paid a whooping 390 $ for this "toy" in the words of my ortho JFL)
