I have been noticing something weird throughout my life being HLTN/LMTN.
I don't get many IOIs from foids in general. But the ones who do happen to like me, irl or on dating apps, are always EXACTLY my type.
This surprised me, so I have been thinking about why it keeps happening.
Here's what I have come up with:
Its probably a combination of all of these things and maybe some other reasons I haven't listed. (I'm lazy)
Anyone else notice this or have any thoughts? Am curious to see if this is common for people who aren't broadly good looking but still pull specific types consistently.

Here's what I have come up with:
- There is a difference between broad and narrow attractiveness - For example chads will have a broad appeal, being good looking to most foids. While lower ranking guys can still have narrow appeal to a specific subset based on their unique features.
- Sample size - You only get to see the foids who act on interest. You dont even register the ones who DIDN'T. So your sample size ends up being heavily filtered from the beginning.
- People are usually attracted to others who sit in a similar aesthetic bracket to them - Whether it's similar facial harmony, similar "type" of features. Basically, attraction can go both ways based off of inherent overlap.
- Compounding halo effect - When someone is attracted to any halo feature you have (in my case, my eyes), they subconsciously upgrade the rest of you to match that even if the rest of you doesn't objectively match.
Its probably a combination of all of these things and maybe some other reasons I haven't listed. (I'm lazy)
