The Last of Us is bad

Only an obese soylennial libtard thinks that a gruff hipster lumberjack passing the gay torch to his adoptive bratty daughter figure is compelling storytelling.

TLOU was the gaming journalism’s darling since day one, they still cite it as the greatest example of cinematic video games and they called Naughty Dog the HBO of video games right up until The Last of Us actually became a show on HBO.

Cinematic video games and premium television are all bad for the same reason: by seeking to subvert their perspective mediums they pervert them to the point where nothing originally enticing about them persists–when you play these games you don’t even get to press buttons, when you put on these shows you’re supposed to follow them closely and textually, they don’t work as white noise.
Everything they aspire to do is suited better for books and movies–and if we judge them by the standards they seek to exhibit they fail miserably.

Also I think it's telling how Bioshock Infinite and TLOU, both released the same year, caused an avalanche of porn where this soy father-daughter dynamic got trashed immediately in favor of hardcore incestual sex, coomers are infinitely more based than the gay kikes running western video game companies.

If The Sopranos was actually good, for example, they could've easily condensed it into a 3 hr film or even a series of competent films that are each strong on their own.
It's bad because the demand for this massive breathing space doesn't actually lead to anywhere worthwhile, you only get filler content that obfuscates just how poor it is textually.

Strongly agree tbh. The Last of Us is bad cause it’s not a video game. It’s made by a company that originally wanted to make TV shows etc but they ended up getting funding from Sony and they made it a video game. Now while I LOVED THE STORY I DESPISED THE GAMEPLAY. But you can’t deny it’s got some good qualities such as sound design, that’s all tbh and maybe graphics but that ain’t importand is it?
