This one is easy to measure and you don't need callipers for accuracy, unlike biacromial and bideltoid length. It's a common misconception that solely delts and clavicles contribute to looking big in a shirt. In reality, the back is equally if not more important for looking big in clothes.

Boulder shoulders for a strong v-taper topless but a back with wings for looking big in a shirt.

what about the thickness of your shoulders? isnt circumference more important?

Delts give the thickness. Shoulder circumference is definitely important in motion. Shoulder width is still more important than circumference though because broad shoulders and a small waist look dimorphic from a frontal view. Still, I would argue back size is an underrated metric that is often overlooked here. I have never heard anyone talk about interscye distance before.
