Agree to disagree, the Soviets merely tried to solve the problem by throwing bodies at the Germans. Hitler had made a grave blunder sending troops south, and the winter catching them by surprise against very well trained Soviet soldiers, really wasn't going to go well.

You can't say the T-34 is abysmal. German engineering was better, but they respected the T-34. The lend-lease included technical advisers, true, but they weren't sent to run Soviet tanks or aircraft forces. The USSR ran its own industrial complex.

This is just false. Most Soviet weaponry - tanks, planes, rifles - were designed, produced, and improved in the USSR. American-manufactured items helped with transports primarily and raw materials, the core weaponry system was almost entirely Soviet. In fact the Soviets even rejected the M3 Lee tank they wanted to send and stated it was poorly made and under-performing.

This reeks of Cold War propaganda and mythmaking.

Hitler was a paranoid guy. He fired his most powerful general who else would’ve definitely took Moscow. He urged Hitler to not send them all south and continue the charge to Moscow, but he refused. Hitler did have some amazing military strategy, but towards the end, he made huge blunders which costed him the war. In the past, he had actually benefited from not listening to the generals at times, he thought it would be the same this time. Truly a stupid move from Hitler. History would be very different if not for such huge blunders at the end.
