Hitler was a paranoid guy. He fired his most powerful general who else would’ve definitely took Moscow. He urged Hitler to not send them all south and continue the charge to Moscow, but he refused. Hitler did have some amazing military strategy, but towards the end, he made huge blunders which costed him the war. In the past, he had actually benefited from not listening to the generals at times, he thought it would be the same this time. Truly a stupid move from Hitler. History would be very different if not for such huge blunders at the end.
