Most people that look good with masseter only seem to have close to 1:1 zygos to jaw width ratio from what i’ve seen. Wide mandible is probably a pre requisite for that.

Masseters look good and are a dimorphic trait until you start getting to 94%+ territory like most bodybuilders, which look ass.

I think masseter insertions matter for this. If you clench and your jaw becomes angular and widest past is close/basically at the bottom, you should be good. Otherwise, if it’s high up and doesn’t look sharp then don’t. That’s when you look bloated.

It was a combo of tmj , chewing and roids yes so in my case it was rlly bad .

But i guess light hypertrophy is pretty good and manageable when done correctly.
