I'm renting a house for $500 a month. I get paid about $1,200 every 2 weeks. Last month's utilities were only $11. We don't use TV, air condititioning, or even fans. Life's alright in America for the time being. Though even if I were a rich man I'd still rather live in the 3rd world. Living in the 3rd world is great. Even ended up homeless with no more that 500 riel (about 12 cents) in Sihanoukville after binging on crystal meth for 6 months in 2015. No computer (smashed it in a meth rage), no phone, no place to stay, nobody back home to wire me any money, and no type of public assistance whatsoever. Took me 3 months to get off the streets, and another 3 months after that to finally save up enough money to by a ticket back to the developing world (not America). And it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I loved every minute of it even though I was constantly more hungry than I've ever been in my entire life. Never felt more alive.
