Adderall is a Schedule II controlled substance typically prescribed to people diagnosed with ADHD and narcolepsy. It works by increasing the amount of dopamine and norepinephrine in the user's brain, which leads to enhanced focus, energy, and alertness.
Reduced Water Retention (Bloating): Users of Adderall (including me) often experience reduced water retention, which makes for a slimmer, more "chiseled" face within only days of use. This is primarily caused by the decreased appetite and increased dehydration springing from the release of norepinephrine and dopamine.
Weight Loss: This one is for all the niggas talking about "ohh noooo I can't lose weight because I get too hungry!11!!1!!!!1
", Adderall essentially acts as an appetite suppressant. I personally find it much easier to decifit/fast when on Adderall, and have previously lost nearly 20 pounds in a month while doing so. As some of you may know about starvemaxxing, however, your metabolism slows down a lot during the process, so you're likely to gain back the majority of the weight unless you go on some sort of a PSMF (Protein Sparing Modified Fast).
Increased Physical Activity: The boost in energy you receive from Adderall (more on that later) can make it easier for lazy niggas to get off their asses and go on a jog. I don't give a shit about caffeine, Adderall is the best preworkout and I'll die by that.
I don't think I've ever looked forward to working out sober like I do when I'm on addy. Not only can it make you want to work out, but it can also make your workouts last longer.

Increased Focus: The most notable symptom of Adderall is by far the benefits it has on your focus. Have you been avoiding something because you think it'll be boring? Take some addy you'll have it done in 30 minutes. A few weeks ago my Biology teacher told me if I didn't complete at least half the class by late October I'd likely fail. I took some Adderall and finished the entire class in 2 days.
Confidence Boost (Refill Your Social Battery): I'm an awkward dude, and always have been. I've had trouble talking to people and recognizing certain social cues my whole life, and have always been hyper aware/insecure of everybody and everything around me. After hopping on addy, I am the most social I've ever been. The day I started taking Adderall was the day I finally started approaching people and making new friends daily. Crazy socialmax, would recommend to all my ND brothers.

Some downsides that I myself have been affected by are severe dehydration, crazy sleep loss (stayed up for 4 nights in a row at one point), eventual physical/mental dependency, and dull skin. I haven't personally experienced these, but malnutrition/fatigue, heart palpitations, chest pain, irritability, and sudden depression during comedown are all common Adderall symptom especially when going on a severe calorie deficit or starvemaxxing.
You SHOULD take Adderall if:
- You were previously diagnosed with narcolepsy/ADHD by a licensed psychiatrist or doctor.
- You have severe struggles with focus, motivation, or impulse control.
- You don't have any history of high blood pressure, heart disease, severe anxiety, and substance abuse.
- You do not have a prescription. (I do not encourage the use of controlled medications without the required prescription, but if you do decide to do so, do it cautiously and at your own risk.)
- You are prone to anxiety or paranoia. Amphetamines in some cases can amplify these symptoms.
- You have any sort of cardiac issues, primarily heart disease. Stimulants are known to raise your heart rate and can severely affect, or possibly even kill you if you have these problems to begin with.
- You already have a low body weight or poor diet -- you will literally fucking starve to death, don't even consider it.
Adderall is an amazing drug with many physical and mental benefits including debloating, weight loss, increased physical activity, hyper focus, and sudden confidence boosts. However, the risks are very serious and should be treated as so. Reach out to a licensed psychiatrist and/or do the necessary research to find out if Adderall usage is safe for you.
