The power of music (procrastination)

Music is very powerful for people who struggle with procrastination and laziness

Think of it as a boost to get you to do what you need to do

For example, we listen to music to make our workouts more enjoyable and this can be applied to so many other things

You could play some classical music or songs that induce high levels of dopamine to get you ready to study or work

Dont want to clean your room? Put on some headphones and listen to high energy music and it will make you want to start cleaning

Dont want to cook a good meal or do the dishes? Listen to music.

The problem for alot of people (especially people with adhd) is that they need to be stimulated constantly. Doing mundane tasks like cooking a healthy meal or studying doesnt stimulate you, so listening to music will give you that stimulation you need while doing that task.

This is mostly water but people underestimate how much music can help. Next time you dont feel like doing something listen to some music to help you prepare yourself for that task and keep listening while you do that task.

I reckon this to be helpful when reading. Albeit I might get bored of it to the point of wanting to stare at my walls while listening to boring Xasthur albums.

works for me, espieceally with hyperpop and edm music, as an aspie
 
It distracts me too much I think music is a Jewish control tool

you want high seretonine music dopaminergic music is techno or hard base youll just become distarcted. seretonin is ambient oras you said classical and is actually long term and fufilling

If u have unmededicated adhd or audhd than music is really shit
