4. Separation—the fear of abandonment, rejection, and loss of connectedness; of becoming a non-person—not wanted, respected, or valued by anyone else. The "silent treatment," when imposed by a group, can have a devastating effect on its target.
5. Ego-death—the fear of humiliation, shame, or any other mechanism of profound self-disapproval that threatens the loss of integrity of the self; the fear of the shattering or disintegration of one's constructed sense of lovability, capability, and worthiness.

the main purpose of making this thread is to illustrate how non special people are here. frequenting sites like these and identifying yourself an incel makes it seem like your situation is unique. there is something that is fundamentally wrong with you which is why you are incapable of finding intimacy. as a result of being unworthy, you fixate on some immutable characteristic such as height or race as a justification for not risking SEPERATION OR EGO DEATH. people are really good a rationalizing their behavior, and because this is primal fear it is deeply imbedded and requires a lot of introspection to realize.

the beautiful aspect of this is that people in general have the same fear. women are also afraid to talk to you. but because of societies make-up, we as men are expected to take the lead, get on one knee and bare the pains of rejection and abandonment. nobody is free from this at all. everyone feels it at some point no matter who they are. everyone is a chad to someone, everyone is unworthy to someone else. we cannot remove this fear as it is primal. we can only decide to act despite it.
