Pull ups are too much work for me. I do lat pulldowns instead.

I can do some but they won’t be pretty

thats fair, i dislike lat pulldowns since i weigh around 60, but im kind of strong for my weight. I do pull-ups since im training for the norwegian weighted record

thats valid tho, trying to better them is better than not trying at all:love:

pull up pill isnt brutal u could fix it in like 3 months but seeing someone do alot of pullups is just such tuffness and its so gross when someone can’t do one, its brutal at the moment

100% agree, although some people do have shit genetics and could only achieve one at fairly slow time :ROFLMAO:

Nah I would have to get the belt and add extra weight and shit

Too much work
thats true, i spent about 170usd on a weighted belt, would rather save it if i didnt aim for a national record

The lack of stability can be a little harsh, if you want to do weight just do lat pulldown.
lat pulldown for me is alot more stable, maybe just that i havent done more than 3 sets of lat pulldowns in my life and 300+ of weighted pull-up:lul:

Yeah machines are just more stable and usually a better option. Can isolate the muscle too, and not include other muscles

my bad, i meant in my case. i have alot more adaptation to pullups and therefore have more muscle unit recruitment on pullups than on lat pulldown. I dont think doing almost double my bodyweight on lat pulldown helps my case😢
