being a good person depends on what u do, not who u r
for example think about a person with NPD and a person who is "normal"
the guy with the NPD donates to charity, volunteers, supports and helps others, the guy who is "normal" doesn't help or support anyone, just wastes his time doing nothing
while the guy with NPD may do it for validation and to make others like him, how is he a worse person than the guy who does nothing?
who you are doesn't define you, what you do does

Idleness is offensive,so yes I agree with you...somewhat

Edit: Also,by helping others and seeing their reactions and the impact you've made on their lives,would probably
make the guy with NPD more empathic more or less,and eventually he may become a more altruistic person,whereas
the "normal" guys is just stagnant and counter productive.
