Acne:
Accutane----
Accutane, also called isotretinoin, is a medication used to treat severe acne. It works by shrinking the oil glands in the skin, which greatly reduces oil production.
With less oil, pores are less likely to clog, acne-causing bacteria cannot grow as easily, and inflammation decreases. Because it targets the main causes of acne, Accutane can lead to long-lasting improvement for many people.
What should I do?:
If you are currently having servery acne i recommend you to take a dose of 10-20 mg If you had acne/ and still have breakouts here and there i recommend you to take 5mg daily - this is what im doing at the moment ant it works wonders for me.
Lede
Topical Tretinoin----
Topical tret is a retinoid- it can be used to clean out pores therefore improving acne by reducing pore clogging- tho its mainly used for its other effects(i will get into this later)Topical tret should not be used on top of accutane if you still have servere acne!- it may couse lots of skin shedding/redness.
If you decide to take the lighter route for servere acne(not recommendet) you should use a 0,1 mg creme.

Diet----
A good diet is essential, try to aim for an anti inflamatory diet, low processed food, low sugar.(MOSTLY COPE THO)

Acne Scarring/scaring/wrinkles:
Microneedling----
How Microneedling works: Microneedling works by creating a lot of small wounds in the skin, triggering growth factors and collagen/elastin synthesis. This is why microneeding can also increase hair growth by promoting hair growth factors.
Microneedling can severely improve your skin quality by inducing collagen production.
Microneedling can only be used if you dont have acne currenty!
-Idealy you should use from 0,5.1mm (deep scars can be treated with a 2mm depth- DO NOT USE THIS LENGHT ON YOUR ENTIRE FACE)
-Use a low % tretinoid–0,025% or any serum that you prefer.
-Before you start your microneedling treatment.Make sure to disinffect your face and needles properly- moisturize after the procedure.
Microneedling before and after

Topical tret for scarring----
Regular use of tretonoin boosts collagen production- reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Its also helps with improving skin texture and fading hyperpigmentation. It accelerates the shedding of pigmented skin cellsUse a 0,025-0,05% cream for these effects.
-Start by cleansing, apply the cream to your skin then moisturize after!!!
GHKCU----
GHK-Cu works by binding glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine with copper ions, altering gene expression in many pathways (not just one). The effect of this is the stimulation of collagen and glycosaminoglycans.
TLDR: Your skin will get better.
DON'T COPE WITH TOPICAL GHK-CU.
The half life of the injection is only a few hours, so dosing twice a day is ideal. 2.5mg twice a day should give you great results. Since it won't induce tachyphylaxis, being more than a single receptor agonist, you can take it without cycling.
Collagen Injection----
This is mainly used for wrinkles- collagen injections decrease visible signs of aging by 7% in 3 months. It fills up the skin, thus smoothing wrinkles.
This can be done at home - not recommended!
I will not go in depth into this subject here, there will be another thread explaining this further.
Prp collagen

A good routine is all that you need:
-Wash your face with water in the morning
-Apply a sunscreen(idealy a tinted one) – this is even more important if you use accutane or topical tretinoin/ or microneedle regularly.
-Use a soft cleanser in the evening And a overnight moisturizer.
And dont forget, less is more!!

Mirin thread but accutane may or may not cause faster epiphyseal closure because its a vitamin a derivative (extremely high vitamin a is directly linked to faster epiphyseal closure)

You should use the highest dose topical tretinoin 5-6 times a week that you can use without side effects, and then use it forever. 0.1 is way too much for most people. 0.025-0.05 is better.
Tretinoin + sunscreen done correctly can essentially stop/prevent skin aging, but it doesn't do much in terms of fixing skin.

I've been using 1.5mm needle for a few acne marks on cheeks, absolutely no difference. Should probably increase to 2-2.5mm
