the switch from tret to iso-tret

Ive been using tretinoin for a while now, starting on 0.025 and slowly making my way up to 0.1 to the point where i am able to use it once every other day without my skin breaking out or getting dry.

but ive heard some things about just how much more effective iso-tret (accutane) is compare to the creams, im just scared im gonna lose my progress from the tret and when i switch im gonna have to go through the whole dry skin and purging stage.

does anyone know if this is really the case, will my skin get dry n shit again switiching to accutance or will it be calm since ive like already used a shit ton of tret n ive like pre conditioned my skin typa thing

You'll either not purge, or purge mildly. Your skin is already used to the increased skin cell turnover, it's extremely likely you won't experience anything similar to the original breakouts on tret.
But your skin will definitely be dry considering it nukes the moisture barrier, it's pretty unavoidable (dose dependent ofc).
You'll now freshly purge with body acne though, how severe it is, you just don't know yet.

Hop on 20mg accutane and 0.025% tret 3x weekly it cleared my acne in 3 weeks
