I've received a lot of positive feedback for my post Treat Success Like A Video Game. Naturally, there has also been some criticism.
Of the two groups, who do you honestly think is living happier, successful lives - the supporters, or the haters?
If you commented negatively or sought to disparage my claims, I am genuinely sorry that your life isn't where you want it to be.
The Risk
Many of you were not prepared to learn the reality of attractiveness. Once you see it, there's no going back.
Accepting that looks are extremely important in life is a massively double-edged sword.
Because now you're the same person as before - but with a cold, brutal view of reality. The ability to rationalise (as you did before) disappears.
You're Not As Objective As You Think
If you're bitter about your status in the world, understand that on some level, you're operating sub-optimally.
You view yourself as logical - as someone who has 'knows the truth', and yet your decisions are not rational.
You don't
Yet you have the audacity to complain about your standing in society. It is a disgrace to your ancestors, whose struggles over thousands of years are unimaginable. How would they feel if they knew all the pain and sacrifice they went through resulted in you, existing as you are currently?
Answer that question honestly.
You claim to be this rational operator, with ego attached to your knowledge of the truth.
And yet - you're actually incredibly emotional.
When you order fries instead of vegetables, or you watch porn instead of engaging in physical activity, you are cowering to the demands of the weak, irrational voice in your head.
Most of you know what you should be doing.
But you're not acting on it.
That's why you're in the bottom 20%.
How To Progress
You might read this post and be motivated - whether it be for a few hours, days, or weeks.
But the truth is, most of you will not change your life in a significant way. That's just how these things go.
One huge threat to your progression is getting discouraged by where you're currently at.
Let's say you're below average looking, with mediocre social skills. You might be inspired to take action to improve your life - but at some point, there will be a situation that forces you to evaluate your status within society:
The mistake most people make at this point is to get discouraged and think - 'that'll never be me, so there's no point'. This is actually a worse move than trying - since you expose yourself to greater pain long-term.
The beauty of making the right decisions is that these difficult moments decrease in frequency as you improve.
Easy Wins
But once you're out, do your best to forget about your looks (unless you're feeling yourself - in that case, great).
Instead, seek to play your current hand as best as you can, with the knowledge that down the line - that hand will be better.
Good luck.

Accepting that looks are extremely important in life is a massively double-edged sword.
- If you take action on this knowledge, your life will improve
- If you do nothing, your life will become significantly worse

You don't
- Go to the gym frequently
- Play a sport
- Reduce your carb/refined sugar intake
- Get deep, restorative sleep
- Have excellent hygiene
- Invest in high-quality fashion
- Wear height-boosting shoes (that actually look good)
- Focus on a niche

- A girl you find attractive not showing interest, then getting with a guy who's cooler/better looking than you
- Seeing someone taller/fitter than you in public
- Hearing crazy, adventurous stories - involving activities that you haven't yet experienced

Easy Wins
- Constantly seek to optimise your attractiveness - winning is about accumulating 1% edges
- Before you leave the house, try to look as good as possible
