Thread song :
Hello everyone and welcome to a in depth thread on health indicators, where I will discuss how important they are for your looks and why they get overlooked on the forum and improving them.
. What are your health indicators?
Health indicators consist of the following
. Skin
. Hair
. Nails
. Eyes
. Weight
. gums/teeth
here are some examples of someone with good health indicators
we can notice good skin, hair, eye sclera, good body weight.
Example of someone with bad health indicators
Very overweight, bad skin, frizzy dull hair and yellowish eyes with dark circles .
So how do you improve health indicators to look your best you are wondering, and it all comes down to 3 things
1. Gut health
2. Diet
3. Sleep
I’ll go in order of each one of these explaining why they are important and how to improve them.
1. The Gut-Skin Connection: Your Face Reflects Your Gut
. Pretty much Your gut is home to trillions of bacteria (the microbiome) that regulate inflammation and nutrient absorption. When it’s out of balance (called dysbiosis) it can trigger systemic inflammation, which shows up on your skin, in the form of acne and eczema, it also is in charge of absorbing things like iron, zinc, protien and biotin and some other stuff , if the gut is damaged from a poor diet it will not be able to deliver the nutrients to maintain healthy skin and hair nails etc.
pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
What is the fix for this? simple, eat gut friendly foods that improve the microbiome.
and not only will these foods improve your gut health but they will boost the metabolism due to the high protein.
2. Why Diet Matters for Your Looks and Health Indicators.
it’s insane how diet is quickly called cope now a days when it’s far from the truth, your diet determines if you have good hormones, skin, hair, nails, weight gain, muscle mass, even I have been guilty of saying it’s cope.
pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
So what is a “good diet” this can be a tricky subjective subject for many, some people think only eating meat is good or doing a keto diet, everyone’s body is different some people feel good eating one thing and another doesn’t
.
In my opinion a good diet is a Whole Foods single ingredient diet consisting of meat, dairy, fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and whole grains, just single ingredient foods made by nature that have all the nutrients to thrive.
By having a good diet that hits all your macro and micronutrients this will improve your hormones like testosterone , combined with a calorie deficit in turn will help with weight loss and building muscle.
Example of a unhealthy body weight vs a healthy one. (Low body fat with lean moderate muscle)

3. How sleep effects your looks
Just getting one bad night of sleep will increase cortisol a ton, I’m talking about like less than 6 hours, which can bloodshot your eyes, increase dark circles, paler skin since sleep regulates seratonin for mood.
most people in this day and age don’t get good sleep due to using their phones and computers all day, as the blue light from these devices affects your melatonin production which is what tells your body to go to sleep.
We also can’t forget that sleep is literally where your body repairs itself, skin cells regenerate, body pumps out Growth hormone, boost blood flow to hair follicles/scalp.
pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
What you can do is just turn off your phone an hour before you plan to go to sleep, so no screens at all, but if you need to use phone screens late at night I recommend picking up some blue light blocking glasses, they are about 15 bucks on amazon.
by using your phone less at night and combing it with these glasses you will have less strained eyes which will make them look healthier.
And Watching a sunset really helps on improving your sleep quality by naturally aligning your body’s internal clock, so your circadian rhythm, which regulates when you feel awake or sleepy. In short The dimming of light, combined with the red light of a sunset act as a signal to your brain that the day is ending and nighttime is approaching. and the natural light shift encourages your brain to start producing melatonin, the hormone responsible for making you feel tired and ready for sleep which I already mentioned previously.

. Frauding health indicators
You can use makeup to fraud health indicators such as concealer for under eyebags and acne, sclera whitening drops for eyes , hair treatments like keratin ones for shinier straighter hair, clip on veneers for teeth and much more, I’m not gonna go in depth with these cause users like me and @menas have already touched on this topic (btw go check out his thread on it that shiet peak yo)
conclusion: by doing all these to improve your overall health your gonna maximize all points I mentioned at the start of the thread and in turn improve your looks and even mental health, which I do feel gets neglected here on this forum due to how the black pill has made us think.
And that’s it, I’ve touched upon everything you need to know on improving your looks with the power of a healthy lifestyle with study’s that act as proof , thanks for reading
