Introduction
Perception of penis size has become very warped. This is the result of a number of factors, including the advent of pornography, photography, photomanipulation, and dishonest reporting of penis size. This thread aims to convene and present all the tools that are useful for healing the warped perception one may have.

Average & percentiles
According to CalcSD, the most reliable source for studies on penis size, the average penile length is 5.67 inches for Western men. The average girth is 4.64 inches.

This is an average that was calculated by combining the findings from a number of reliable scientific studies and it is as close to the true average as we're probably ever going to get. Keep in mind that this number does NOT take the entirety of Asia into account, so no Chinese and Indians to bring the average down. It also does NOT include micropenises. Subjects were either injected with or given an oral drug that brings them to their peak size in order to get the most accurate measurements possible.

Measuring
There is only one correct way to measure your penis. The bone-pressed length. To find it, induce as strong an erection as you can, stand up, lay a hard ruler flat along the top of your penis, and push the ruler in towards your pubic bone. Try to straighten out any curve you may have, but be gentle; it is possible to fracture your penis, though it is unlikely you could do it to yourself without meaning to. The farthest point the ruler reads is your standardized erect length. Anything else is frauding. Measuring from the side, measuring from the bottom, measuring with a tape measure. All frauding.

Womens preferences
This is a study on womens penis size preferences. The researcher asked the women to make a visual of what they perceived as their ideal penis size. Because they were asked to make something visual, it's safe to assume that these size preference numbers are preferences for non bone-pressed lengths. (NBPEL). There are some major flaws with this study though. The sample size is very small (N = 75) and thus the results of this study are to be taken with a grain of salt. The second flaw it is that it's a study based on something women have said. We all know that what women say doesn't carry much value. For all we know they made the dicks a little smaller to not seem like sluts or whatever.
Myths
The idea that black men have larger penises is entirely a fabrication of the pornography industry. There is no data to suggest such a thing is the case. Studies that have show this are based on self reported data. Of the usable studies that have examined penis size by country or race, it is typically found that European nations, i.e. white men, have the largest penises, though not by much–perhaps 6.1 inch averages in those countries where black males showed 5.1 inch or 5.4 inch averages.
