Since US citizenship up until very recently was based on birthright citizenship birth tourism was a common phenomenon, especially among Chinese nationals. A significant percentage of Asian voters in the US elections, especially Chinese voters are literal PRC nationals and not naturalized immigrants or US-raised diasporas.

What if they voted for Trump because they knew how much of a dumbass he was because birth tourism is often done by wealthy and upper class Chinese with elite connections, including CCP officials.
