its just a testing ground to find out who the hottest guy/girl you can get is.
when it comes to girls sometimes they go for a slightly ugly/weird one then ghost them and slowly work their way up until they start getting pumped and dumped. or maybe they start from the other side and descend from pumpanddumpers, both are good strategies for them
its about finding the perfect balance between nice guy and pump and dump energy, whatever that may be for any given girl, when they found this unconsciously they know they found their match
usually by your late 20s, you have this figured out.
keep in mind everyone does this without being conscious about it at all. it just kind of "happens." water has this extraordinary ability to find its level to such a precise degree
